Everyone involved with the production of Aladdin would like to thank all of the people, in the community, who came to the Theatre to watch the students express their talents. It was obvious that the children who attended the performances enjoyed the show very much. This aspect in itself makes the hard work of everyone involved worthwhile.
The GATE Program, Division of Special Education, Department of Education will be presenting "Aladdin" at the GATE Tiyan Theatre. The first performance will be for students on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The public performances will be staged at the GATE Tiyan Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 3, 4, and 5. Tickets will be sold at the door; students - $3.00 and adults - $5.00
Synopsis:
Aladdin and his collection of friends, including the dancing monkey, Toodle-de-tuos, discover the magic of an old lamp and the adventure of a life time. The Sultan, the beautiful princess, an old sorceress, the crafty stranger and two Genies combine to make this a fast paced and incredibly comical production.A FUN PLAY FOR ALL AGES!!!
