D.L. Perez Elementary School, Preschool Program
Eileen was born and raised in Hawaii and then moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she graduated in 1979 from Coe College, with a B.A. in Sociology. She worked in Hawaii as a youth shelter houseparent, correctional center intake worker and a welfare income maintenance worker. She and her family moved to Guam in 1988 where she became a certified teacher in 1991. Following her first three years as a first grade teacher, she transferred to GATE program in 1994.
