Inarajan Elementary and Talofofo Elementary Schools
Alicia loves teaching GATE students. She feels that she is free to soar seeking challenging and inspiring themes. Her students venture into projects beyond the classroom. Together they discover the island and their relationship to living things and how changes are brought to the environment. Along with Forestry and a school committee, she is helping to cut a nature trail with the students. The GATE program has opened many possibilities for her students to study the world in many different ways. She is the peer mediation coordinator, and is working to assist students to resolve conflicts peacefully through mediation.
